Terms of Use
Version 1.2 of 6 November 2026, effective from 6 November 2026 (previously 1.1 of 1 November 2026 and 1.0 of 31 October 2026; change: sign-in with a code, sub-processors Cloudflare and Google)
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
The Terminuj service (a booking system for businesses — a public booking page, a booking widget on your own website, a calendar and business admin at app.terminuj.com) is provided by Vassweb s. r. o., Školská 981/36, 931 01 Šamorín, Company ID (IČO) 56 921 021, Tax ID (DIČ) 2122501524, VAT ID (IČ DPH) SK2122501524, registered in the Commercial Register of the District Court Trnava, section Sro, file No. 59422/T (“we”).
Supervisory authority: Slovak Trade Inspection (Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia), SOI Inspectorate for the Trnava Region, Pekárska 23, 917 01 Trnava 1.
These terms govern the contract between us and whoever registers a business in the service (the “business” or “you”). The service is intended for entrepreneurs for the purposes of their business, so the contract is governed by the Slovak Commercial Code (Obchodný zákonník), § 261(1). People who book an appointment through Terminuj (the “business’s customers”) enter into a contract only with the business, not with us.
If a business agrees otherwise with us in writing (for example a partner programme), that agreement takes precedence over these terms (§ 273(2) of the Commercial Code).
2. Registration and account
- You register a business at app.terminuj.com/onboarding by entering an email address and details of the business. You sign in with a link or a one-time code that we send to your email; in the mobile app you can also set a password.
- The contract is concluded when registration is completed. During registration we refer you to the terms of the service; these Terms of Use form part of them and take precedence in the event of conflict. By registering, you confirm that you are acting in the course of your business.
- You can have at most 3 businesses per account. You can invite further signed-in users to a business according to your plan (section 4).
- Protect access to the email address that receives the sign-in links and codes. You are responsible for activity in your account; if you suspect misuse, let us know immediately.
- Provide truthful details of the business (name, Company ID (IČO), Tax ID (DIČ), VAT ID (IČ DPH), address) — we also use them on invoices.
3. Free trial
- A new business gets a 14-day trial from registration, during which we do not limit bookings, with 1 signed-in user. The trial is free and we do not ask for a card.
- Before the trial ends, we send you a reminder by email. The trial does not turn into a paid plan by itself and nothing is charged.
- After the trial ends, the business does not accept new bookings until it chooses a paid plan. Your bookings, customers, settings and data export remain available to you.
- Each business gets the trial only once. During registration we therefore verify the Company ID (IČO) in the public register and may verify the phone number with an SMS code. If the IČO has already had a trial, or if you do not enter an IČO, the business is created without a trial and you start taking bookings by choosing a paid plan.
- To protect against repeated trials, we keep the IČO and one-way fingerprints of the phone number, IP address and device for 12 months (details in the service’s privacy policy, section 2c). A match with a previous trial is assessed by a person, not automatically; obvious misuse (the same business under a different name or email) may lead to the trial being ended.
4. Plans and prices
Prices are per business. We add VAT to prices excl. VAT under Act No. 222/2004 Coll. on VAT (23% in Slovakia):
- Pro — €9 excl. VAT (€11.07 incl. VAT) per month or €90 excl. VAT (€110.70 incl. VAT) per year; unlimited bookings, 1 signed-in user.
- Salón — €29 excl. VAT (€35.67 incl. VAT) per month or €290 excl. VAT (€356.70 incl. VAT) per year; unlimited bookings, up to 5 signed-in users.
- Studio — €59 excl. VAT (€72.57 incl. VAT) per month or €590 excl. VAT (€725.70 incl. VAT) per year; unlimited bookings, unlimited signed-in users.
Paid plans are paid by card via Stripe in the business admin, monthly or yearly in advance. Until card payment is available in the business admin, a paid plan cannot be ordered and nothing is charged. For each paid period you receive an invoice, which you can download in the business admin.
At the end of each period the subscription renews automatically for another period of the same length until you cancel it (section 5). We will notify you of any price change by email at least 30 days in advance; the new price applies from the first period after the change takes effect, and until then you can cancel the subscription.
Payments from the business’s customers for its services go directly to the business. We take nothing from them.
5. Change of plan, cancellation and end of the contract
- You can change your plan or cancel the subscription at any time in the business admin (Billing). A cancelled subscription remains valid until the end of the paid period; we do not refund the unused part of the period unless the fault is ours (section 7).
- You can delete a business in the settings or by email. We can restore it within 7 days; after that we permanently delete its data — except invoices (section 6). Before deleting, download your data (export of bookings and customers).
- We may terminate the contract by email with a notice period of 30 days. We may terminate it without notice, or restrict the account, if the business materially breaches these terms (section 8), for example by sending spam through the service or endangering its security; where security allows, we will first ask you to remedy the breach.
- If we discontinue the Terminuj service entirely, we will announce it at least 90 days in advance, enable you to export your data and refund a proportionate part of the subscription paid.
6. Business data and what happens to it after the contract ends
- Data that you or your customers enter into the service belongs to you. You can download it at any time in the business admin.
- Once a business has been deleted and the 7-day restore period has passed, we delete all its data, including bookings and customers. Invoices issued by us, or issued by the business in the service, are kept as accounting documents for 10 years from the end of the year in which they were issued (§ 35(3) of Act No. 431/2002 Coll. on Accounting), after which we delete them.
- While the account exists: for a customer who has had no booking or visit for 36 months, we anonymise the name and contact details. We keep security logs for 365 days. All retention periods are set out in the privacy policy.
7. What we do
- We operate the service with professional care, back it up and protect it with appropriate technical and organisational measures. We do not promise uninterrupted availability without outages; where possible, we carry out planned maintenance outside normal opening hours.
- We keep improving the service. We will not remove a feature that is part of a paid plan during the paid period without compensation.
- Support: podpora@terminuj.com, +421 918 668 728 (on working days).
8. What the business does
- It uses the service in accordance with the law — not for spam, fraud, infringing the rights of others or circumventing the service’s protection (automated bookings, overloading).
- It is responsible for the content it publishes (name, services, prices, texts, images) and for its relationship with its customers — for prices, cancellation terms, providing its services and for informing customers about the processing of their personal data.
- It keeps changes to its offer and opening hours up to date so that customers do not book invalid times.
9. Liability
We are liable for damage under the Commercial Code (§ 373 et seq.). We are not liable for damage caused by circumstances excluding liability (§ 374 — for example a widespread internet or power outage beyond our control), by incorrect data or settings of the business, or for performance between the business and its customers.
The parties declare that the damage foreseeable at the time the contract is concluded (§ 379) will, as a rule, not exceed the amount the business has paid for the service over the last 12 months. The business prevents damage by regularly downloading its important data (§ 384).
10. Data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR)
For the data of the business’s customers, the business is the controller and we are its processor under Art. 28 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). This section is a contract under Art. 28(3) GDPR in electronic form (Art. 28(9)) and is concluded together with the service contract.
- Subject matter and duration: processing necessary to operate the booking system, for the duration of the service contract and the periods in section 6.
- Nature and purpose: storage, organisation, display, backup, sending confirmations and notifications, and erasure — so that the business can receive and manage bookings.
- Data subjects: the business’s customers and members of the business’s staff whom the business enters into the calendar.
- Types of data: name, email, phone, appointments and booking history (date, service, price), customer notes and the business’s notes and tags, technical records of booking creation (IP address, browser type). Do not enter special categories of data (e.g. health data) in notes unless strictly necessary — the business is responsible for their lawfulness.
- Instructions: we process data only on documented instructions from the business — use and settings of the service are deemed to be such instructions. We do not use the data for our own purposes and do not sell it. If we consider an instruction to infringe the law, we will inform you.
- Confidentiality and security: only persons bound by confidentiality have access to the data; we take measures under Art. 32 GDPR (encrypted connection, separation of businesses’ data, access control, backups, activity logs).
- Sub-processors: the business gives general authorisation for these providers: Supabase (database and sign-in, data in the EU — Frankfurt), Vercel (application hosting, server in the EU — Frankfurt), Resend (sending emails), Stripe (payments — business subscriptions and customer deposits, if the business uses them), Expo (notifications in the mobile app for staff, USA), Cloudflare (protecting forms against bots — Cloudflare Turnstile, USA), Google (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC — writing bookings to Google Calendar, only if the business connects it itself) and BulkGate (TOPefekt s.r.o., Czech Republic — SMS, if the business turns them on). The current list is also in the service’s privacy policy. We will notify changes to the list by email at least 14 days in advance; you may object and, if we cannot agree, terminate the contract without penalty. We pass the same obligations on to sub-processors.
- Transfers outside the EU: if data could be accessible outside the EU/EEA (providers based in the USA), the transfer is protected by standard contractual clauses (Commission Decision (EU) 2021/914) or by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
- Assistance to the business: with customer requests (access, rectification, erasure, portability) we help through the service’s features (editing, export, anonymisation) and, on request, also by email; we also assist with the obligations under Art. 32 to 36 GDPR.
- Personal data breach: we notify the business without undue delay after becoming aware of it, with the information the business needs to notify the supervisory authority.
- End of processing: the business takes its data back by export; after the business is deleted, we erase the data in accordance with section 6, except what we must retain by law. Data disappears from backups when they are routinely overwritten.
- Audits: on request we provide the information necessary to demonstrate compliance with these obligations and allow audits — usually by written questionnaire, otherwise as agreed so as not to endanger other businesses’ data.
As a controller, we process the data of the business’s users (sign-in, billing, support) — this is described in the privacy policy.
11. Changes to the terms
We may change these terms; we will notify changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect (30 days for prices, section 4). If you do not agree with a change, you may terminate the contract without penalty before it takes effect. The version and date are always shown at the top of this page.
12. Final provisions
The contract is governed by the law of the Slovak Republic. We will try to resolve disputes by agreement; otherwise they will be decided by the competent court of the Slovak Republic. Communication takes place by email to the addresses given in the account and to podpora@terminuj.com. If any provision is invalid, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
