1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device (computer, tablet, mobile phone) and reads again on your next visit. We treat similar technologies in the same way, for example the browser’s local storage (local storage, session storage).
2. Legal basis
Storing and reading information on a device is governed by § 109(8) of Act No. 452/2021 Coll. on Electronic Communications, as amended by Act No. 297/2025 Coll. Without consent, only what is strictly necessary to provide a service you have requested is permitted. Anything else (analytics, advertising, third-party content) we could only enable after your prior consent.
3. Which cookies this website uses
This website uses only one strictly necessary cookie, which remembers that you have already seen the cookie information, so that it does not appear again on every visit.
If you click the light and dark mode switch yourself, the website saves your choice in the browser’s local storage (terminuj-rezim) so that on your next visit the page is displayed the way you chose. Nothing is saved without a click. This is a feature you requested yourself, so no consent is needed; the data stays only in your browser and is not sent anywhere.
We do not use analytics or marketing cookies, we do not embed maps, videos or other third-party content, and the page does not contact any third-party server during your visit.
That is why we do not ask for your consent — the bar shown on your first visit is for information only (the “Got it” button). If we ever wanted to use cookies that require consent, we would only enable them after your consent and would update this policy in advance.
4. How to manage cookies
You can display the cookie information again at any time via the link in the page footer. You can also view, block or delete cookies in your browser settings (Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies; Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security; Safari: Settings → Privacy; Edge: Settings → Privacy, search, and services → Cookies). If you block the necessary cookie, the bar will appear on every visit. You can delete the saved mode by clearing the site data in your browser; the website will then be displayed according to your device’s settings.
5. Third parties and transfers outside the EU
This website does not send any data to third parties via cookies and does not transfer it outside the European Union.
6. Your rights and supervision
Where cookies process personal data, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the Protection of Personal Data you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and the right to object. You can exercise them by email at podpora@terminuj.com. More about the processing of personal data is in the privacy policy. You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority:
- Storing and reading cookies (§ 109(8) of Act No. 452/2021 Coll.): Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Postal Services (Úrad pre reguláciu elektronických komunikácií a poštových služieb), Továrenská 7, 828 55 Bratislava 24, www.teleoff.gov.sk, e-podatelna@teleoff.gov.sk
- Processing of personal data (GDPR, Act No. 18/2018 Coll.): Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky), Galvaniho 7/B, 821 04 Bratislava, dataprotection.gov.sk, statny.dozor@pdp.gov.sk
7. Changes to this policy
We update this policy whenever the cookies we use or the relevant regulations change. The current version is always on this page, with the date of the last update.
